Duties and responsibilities of Preschool Teachers include developing and delivering interactive learning programs designed to engage and educate young children. Job Duties ·Establish and enforce rules of behavior for children in their classrooms ·Provide basic needs for children ·Provide tools and resources for children to use and explore during learning and play activities ·Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the interests and learning styles of children ·Manage classroom activities including lessons, play, breaks and meals ·Maintain a clean and tidy classroom ·Help children reach developmental milestones ·Collaborate with others to implement lesson plans ·Encourage children to interact with each other to develop social skills ·Provide appropriate supervision for children at all times ·Maintain inventory system for classroom materials and supplies ·Facilitate various activities for children including songs, games and storytelling ·Adhere to health/safety and sanitation procedures Professional Qualifications ·Must have at least 12 Early Childhood Education Units or Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education ·Must be able to work a Flexible schedule ·Great customer service skills to communicate effectively with staff and students ·Have proven evidence of adequate preparation, background and ability required by the position. ·Have the skill to make and effectively communicate timely decisions. ·Have the ability to foster creativity and be responsible for innovative ideas. Posted: 03/20/2023 The Teacher’s Aide will act as an assistant to the teacher by preparing classroom materials as requested and monitoring classroom activities during teacher’s break. Job Duties ·Prepare materials as requested by the teacher. ·Grade student work as requested by the teacher. ·Work one-on-one or in small student groups as requested by teacher. ·Chaperone on field trips as requested by teacher. ·Traffic Duty, yard duty as requested by administrator. ·Monitor class activities while teacher is on break or at lunch. ·Assist the teacher with preparation of classroom materials.
